Me-Wii Christmas!

I got a Wii for Christmas from my mom! This is now a freaking awesome Christmas. My mom rules! Now, I must go hook my Wii up and play it until my arm falls off!

This Is What Happens…

When I take a week off from work and have more drinking time. I’m off until next Monday so, who knows the kind of debauchery that will ensue.

So, I have a new digital camera I got for my birthday. That pic was taken with it. So, now my blog posts will have better pictures than the pics of the past that were taken with my cell phone.

To test it out I tried to have a photoshoot with my dog, but she wasn’t having it. This was the best I could get because she kept moving or turning away.

Alrighty, just wanted to drop by with a quickie post while I’m online for now.  I had time today since I got the Xmas shopping done early. I’ll still come by and try to catch up with everyone else’s blogs through the week.

Early Holiday Greetings

Just wanted to make sure I (and Spiderman up there) wished everyone a happy holiday season. I will be taking next week off from work and so after today I probably won’t be online much. I’ll be keeping busy doing other things, mostly sleeping.  I will come by to leave a comment or two on other blogs when I can. I hope everyone enjoys the holiday. I know I will enjoy every minute I don’t have to be at work!

The End Is Nigh

It’s raining in Southern Cali. This has to be a sign of the apocalypse.

Since it doesn’t rain here 99% of the time then we’re having flooding issues and the roads are a mess. I don’t mind the weather getting cooler, but rain can be a drag. Hopefully, I don’t have to swim to work tomorrow. Wait, I can’t swim so I’ll have to fashion a Macgyver raft to take to work.

The Big 3-Oh No!

Yep, it’s my 30th birthday today! I made it through three full decades. I don’t mind turning 30, I just would have expected to accomplish a lot more than I have. But, I’ve done okay overall for myself, aside from all the falling down and subsequent injuries.  I have a full time steady job (for now), a roof over my head, transportation, and the ability to pay my bills. I’m not currently married or have kids but that’s by choice. And, really, with all the boozing and football watching I do, when would I have time for kids and/or a husband? I just  don’t really want kids quite yet, if at all.  I do wish I had a better job or better pay, but considering how high the unemployment rate is now, then I’m doing fine.

I had considered doing some big bash or going somewhere, but I did all that craziness for my 21st and most of my birthdays in my 20’s. I decided this year to spend it with my good friends who have been there through the years. I’m heading to a bar with my best friend tonight and having two dinners on Friday and Saturday nights respectively with my other friends.

I’m glad that all of my blog readers (the handful of you) can be here for this milestone of mine. Because I’m almost certain I won’t be blogging by the time my next age milestone comes around! Actually, if I could only quit being clumsy and falling all the time then I might have a chance of making it to 40! So, here’s looking towards my 30’s and whatever adventure they may bring.

Tis’ The Season

With the month of December upon us I’ve started doing my Christmas decorating. I don’t have a lot of stuff I put up, but just enough to keep the holiday mood. Thought I’d share some of my Rams Christmas decorations because I know you all love my crazy Rams fanatics! And sorry about the lighting in a couple of these.

I actually have about 5 more of these ornaments. They send me a new one every year, but the other ones are packed away in my mom’s house and I don’t want to dig them up.

And, of course, the Christmas tree. It’s only about 2 feet tall. I’ve had this tree for about 15 years! I’m surprised it’s lasted that long.

Home Again

So, I’m back from Vegas. I actually got back Saturday afternoon, but I had a lot of rest to catch up on! The trip went well. Getting there was a pain because I had to get through some rush hour traffic at first. So, what would have been a 3.5/4 hour drive turned into 6. But I eventually made it. I stayed at Ceasar’s Palace and got my room comp upgraded from a standard to their Palace Tower Deluxe room.

My room had two queen beds though, but I forgot to take pictures of it so I took these off the casino’s website. Other than that, this is exactly what the room was like. However, I did get a picture of one of their many fountains.

I didn’t hit the jackpot or win any big bucks because I stuck to the penny slots. I’m not much of a gambler I’m more of a drinker so I did plenty of that. Here’s a final picture I remembered to take while I played the penny slots and drank.

My pictures are a little blurry because I spent a lot of time drinking. I didn’t even take many pics because I’ve been to Vegas so many times it just didn’t seem necessary. Anyways, I’m back in Cali and back to work. My obnoxious co-worker is already getting on my nerves! I wish I was back in Vegas! Anyways, hope the rest of you had a great Thanksgiving.
